Francis is a walk in restaurant that serves Middle Eastern dishes.
For food we chose the option where you get lots of small dishes that the cook recommends. With this option you get the opportunity to try 10 different dishes.
Every dish at Francis is full of flavor, unique and different.
The feast started with humus, Falafel, burnt egg plant, cigars, baked halloumi, chilli prawns and lamb ribs. On the side we had cauliflower and zucchini with feta. To be honest I have a hard to time to choose a favorite as the dishes were all divine!
I loved the hummus with pita bread. It was smooth and had great flavor. The baked Halloumi was so good and I wished it was bigger or there was more for it was crunchy and slightly sweet on the outside and soft inside. The Chili prawns were not too spicy and had Urfa - which I never tried before!
I also enjoyed the beef cigars with green tahini - they had minced beef inside.
The lamb ribs were soft and delicious and very tasty!
The zucchini were light and refreshing and the cauliflower nicely spiced with tarragon and had yoghurt on top.
This was followed by Kafta which had a nice strong lamb taste.
We finished off with Knafeh a palistinan dessert that I absolutely loved!
I highly recommend Francis, and next time I will try the Octopus!
Mini miche tip - go early so you get a table!
That's all for my mini miche review today!
